SkinAgeScanner allows users to upload a clear adult face photo and receive an AI-generated visible skin-age estimate.
The service includes:
- Image analysis using artificial intelligence.
- Visual estimates based on visible skin texture, tone evenness, expression lines, and photo presentation.
- Short explanations about visible image cues and photo-quality limitations.
- A usage-limited access model.
- Optional rewarded advertisements for continued use.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are legally allowed to use this type of service in your jurisdiction.
- You will not upload photos of minors.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Upload only images you have the right to use.
- Upload only clear adult face photos.
- Not upload images of minors.
- Not upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Not misuse the service or attempt to bypass usage limits or restrictions.
- Use the App only for informational visual estimates and not as a replacement for professional medical or dermatology advice.
You are responsible for the content you submit.
5. Content Restrictions
We may refuse to process images that:
- Appear to contain minors.
- Show multiple people when a single face is required.
- Do not show a usable adult face.
- Are too blurred, dark, obstructed, distant, cropped, filtered, or low resolution to analyze.
- Contain medical imagery, close-ups of lesions, rashes, wounds, intimate body areas, or content that should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional.
- Contain unsupported content, such as nudity, sexual content, violence, hate symbols, illegal activity, memes, text-only content, or unrelated screenshots.
- Are otherwise inappropriate, illegal, or violate these Terms.
We reserve the right to block or reject content at our discretion to maintain safe and appropriate use of the service.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The feedback provided by the App is generated by artificial intelligence.
- Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, subjective, or affected by photo angle, lighting, expression, makeup, skincare products, filters, image quality, and limited visible coverage.
- The feedback is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- It is not professional advice.
The feedback is intended to describe visible photo patterns only. It is not intended to analyze your identity, attractiveness, worth, legal age, chronological age, health status, medical condition, or eligibility for any opportunity.
SkinAgeScanner does not guarantee any specific outcomes, including accurate skin-age estimation, health evaluation, skincare improvement, early detection, treatment success, or prevention of skin aging.
7. Medical Disclaimer
SkinAgeScanner is not a medical app, medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare service. It does not provide medical diagnosis, medical advice, healthcare advice, dermatology advice, skincare treatment recommendations, prescriptions, or treatment promises.
The App does not diagnose skin cancer, acne, eczema, rosacea, infections, allergic reactions, pigmentation disorders, premature aging causes, medication effects, nutritional issues, or any other medical condition.
Do not rely on the App for medical decisions. If you have concerns about your skin, skin lesions, moles, rashes, irritation, skincare products, treatment, medication, or any medical condition, consult a qualified doctor, dermatologist, or healthcare professional.
8. No Biometric Identification
SkinAgeScanner is not a facial recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, face matching, or age-verification service.
The App does not create faceprints, facial embeddings, biometric templates, or verified age records. Results are visual estimates based on the submitted photo and should not be used to identify a person, verify a person's age, or make decisions about access, eligibility, employment, insurance, credit, housing, healthcare, or legal status.
9. Usage Limits
The App provides a limited number of free uses per period, for example monthly.
After these free uses are exhausted, you may continue using the service by watching a rewarded advertisement before each additional scan.
Free uses:
- Are reset periodically, for example monthly.
- Have no monetary value.
- Are non-transferable.
We may change usage limits or how access to the service is provided at any time.
10. Rewarded Ads
After your free uses are exhausted, you may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to perform an additional scan.
- Ads are provided by third-party providers such as Google AdMob.
- We do not control the content of advertisements.
- A scan is only made available after the ad has been successfully completed and verified.
We may change how advertisements are used within the App at any time.
11. Data Deletion
You may delete your data using the in-app deletion feature or by contacting support.
Deletion removes your stored data and may reset your usage history and available free uses.
We may retain limited technical or anonymized data where necessary for security or abuse prevention.
12. Availability
We do not guarantee that the App will be:
- Uninterrupted.
- Error-free.
- Always available.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- SkinAgeScanner is provided "as is" and "as available".
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.
- This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on AI-generated estimates, medical or personal decisions made based on results, and loss of data or content.
14. Abuse and Misuse
We may take action if we detect misuse, including:
- Limiting access.
- Blocking usage.
- Preventing repeated attempts to bypass usage limits.
- Rejecting unsafe or unsupported content.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you in the App.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
